Hello Court is a trade name of Adaptive Ventures LLC, a North Carolina limited liability company. In these terms, "Hello Court," "we," "us," and "our" mean Adaptive Ventures LLC doing business as Hello Court.

By using this site, signing up for the waitlist, or buying a case, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Who can use this site

Hello Court is intended for adults 18 and older. By using the site or joining the waitlist, you confirm that you are at least 18. If you are under 18, please do not use the site or submit information through it.

What this site is

Hello Court is opening in stages, state by state. Where it is not open yet, hellocourt.app is a waitlist: when you sign up, you agree to receive an email when Hello Court opens for you, and (optionally, only if you check the box) occasional product updates. You can unsubscribe at any time. Where it is open, you can prepare a case and buy it as described below.

Pricing and payment

Joining the waitlist is free. Looking into your situation and the free walkthrough are free too.

$125 per case, paid once. No subscription. Hello Court is sold one case at a time. You pay once, when you open your case to work it, after the free walkthrough. That payment covers the case completely: the full workspace, review of what you upload, court documents on your state's official forms, and your packet and reference guide. There is no recurring charge, no monthly fee, and no auto-renewal. When a case is finished, you can start another.

Some people who joined the waitlist early were promised a lower price for their first case. If that applies to you, you will see that price at checkout.

AI help. Each case includes 500,000 usage credits (the units the AI uses to read and write text). If a case needs more, you can add more at $10 for each additional 100,000 usage credits, in amounts from $5 to $300. We always show you where you stand before you buy more.

The price you see is the price you pay. It is always shown clearly before you pay, and you agree to it by completing your purchase. Prices for future purchases may change, but a change never affects a case you have already paid for.

How payment works. Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number goes directly to Stripe and never reaches Hello Court. The charge appears on your statement as HELLO COURT, and Stripe emails you a receipt.

Sales tax. Where the law requires it, sales tax is added on top of the price, based on your ZIP code. You see the tax and the total before you pay.

Refunds

All sales are final. Work on your case starts as soon as you pay, so a payment for a case is not refundable, whether or not you finish the case or download your packet or reference guide. Usage credit top-ups are not refundable either, and unused usage credits cannot be exchanged for money.

When the problem is ours, we refund in full. We refund a payment in full if:

• we charged you by mistake, for example twice for the same thing;
• we cannot support your case, for example because your state or case type turns out not to be covered; or
• a problem on our side keeps you from using the case you paid for, and we cannot fix it.

To ask, email support@hellocourt.app from the email address on your account. Approved refunds go back to the card you paid with. Your bank usually shows it within 5 to 10 business days.

Nothing in this section takes away a refund right that the law where you live gives you.

• Not an attorney-client relationship. Signing up for the waitlist or contacting us does not create an attorney-client relationship.
• Not a guarantee of any case outcome. Hello Court provides educational walkthroughs and document templates. We do not promise any particular outcome.

Google Maps content

Hello Court includes some Google Maps features and content. For example, the Choosing a lawyer page can show an office's Google rating and review count. Google supplies those ratings, not Hello Court. We do not check them, and we do not use them to choose, rank or endorse anyone. Your use of Google Maps features and content is subject to the then-current versions of the Google Maps End User Additional Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.

Changes to the site or these terms

We are in active build. Site content, features, and these terms may change. If we change these terms in any material way, we will update the "Last updated" date above and notify waitlist subscribers and customers by email before substantive changes take effect.

No warranties

This site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Hello Court, Adaptive Ventures LLC, and their operators, members, agents, and contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site or any inability to use the site, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-laws provisions, because Adaptive Ventures LLC is organized under North Carolina law. Nothing in these terms takes away any right or protection you have under the consumer-protection laws of the state where you live, and those laws still apply to you where they would otherwise govern.
